Over the years Willow Island has been be a launch site for many shoots.
Canada Day; Pile O' Bones; Regina Centennial; Saskatchewan Centennial; Legislative Building 100th.

Safety regulations require a safety zone on the lake and several areas of the mainland.

Generally the better locations to view the show is facing the west side of the island.
Albert Street, the bandstand area,
and along the shore near the Legislative Building.
