ROSS THATCHER

EACH MAN MUST PLAY HIS
ROLE, HOWEVER GREAT OR SMALL,
IN THE SERVICE OF HIS COUNTRY
HE MUST GIVE OF HIS ENERGY AND
WISDOM, HIS LOVE AND DEDICATION,
TO ENSURE THAT ALL PEOPLE MAY
LIVE TOGETHER IN DIGNITY, AND IN PEACE.

THE HONOURABLE
W. ROSS THATCHER

BORN 24 MAY 1917, DIED 25 JULY 1971
PREMIER OF SASKATCHEWAN, 1964-1971
MEMBER OF PRIVY COUNCIL, 1967.

HE REMAINED TRUE TO HIS FUNDAMENTAL
BELIEF IN THE ENTERPRISING SPIRIT OF
INDIVIDUAL MAN, AND IN THE NEED FOR
A POLITICAL AND SOCIAL FRAMEWORK THAT
RESPECTS AND NOURISHES THAT SPIRIT.
